As I was leaving today, this handsome fellow was very casually ambling across the road towards the home site, so I thought I would stop and say hello.

He was quite alarmed when I got out of the jeep and scurried across the road.

Martin has been invaluable. He works very reasonably, has all the equipment he needs, and has never failed to meet a time frame for me.

The screening is spread with a backhoe. The wind doesn't blow it away, and after a rain or two it gets firm but not rigid.

I have gotten a load too many of the screening, but better to be safe than sorry later.

The truck carrying the first load of screening (crushed concrete) made it through just fine after Martin widened the road a little.

Martin is moving the power pole to its final home in this picture. Once it's in place, all that remains is the septic tank before I can get electricity out here.
