Desert-Photography.com is the creation of Ron Mears.

Ron is a software developer and webmaster based in El Paso, Texas. His websites include the famous Juarez Tour Guide and WorldCountries.info. One of his hobbies is attempting to bring the stark and often stunning beauty of the Chihuahuan Desert to life through the lens of his camera. Dona Ana Mountains - Right Through the Range : This route is the best I've found in the Las Cruces area: scenic, not too tough on the Wrangler (it's not paid for), and enough good scenery a photographer could make a career out of photographing this range. Plus, it's only about a 15 minute drive to the trail head.

Unfortunately, it was an overcast day not particularly condusive for good pictures, but I thought you might like a peek at the kind of scenery you will find on this Scenic Byway.
